How common was it to be a Nazi party member in Bavaria during WW2?

Question:

Answer: Don't be stupid, be a smartie: Come and join the Nazi party. If a man wished to make a career, party membership was a must. So, all officials, history teachers, school principals, policemen, foremen, businessmen, etc. were the party members. If somebody with a higher rank tolds "no, a wasn't a Nazi", I know he lied.
